I have to admit that, coming from Macon, playing what may have been called "post-grunge" in high school, these guys scared me a little bit. I could see where Magic Bone and Dirt were coming from, but King Kill had a sinister edge that made me nervous about what Atlanta music was really about. Now I look back and it was theatrics and conspiracy theories (obviously), but they were very convincing with their delivery.<br /><br />They were intense and I enjoyed playing "Ditch Digger" and "We Never Went to the Moon" a lot on late-night WREK shifts. I got to know some of them later in the Pineal Ventana era, and they were all really nice guys and gals.burnesnoreply@blogger.com
